The Web is
your Canvas
A browser extension that lets you edit any website with AI‑generated userscripts. Just describe what you want changed.

"If I don't like something about a website, I should be able to fix it immediately."
Introducing QuillMonkey, an AI userscript manager.
As a frequent user of tools like Claude Code and Cursor, I have become accustomed to the ease of editing. If I don't like something about what I'm looking at, I can fix it immediately by prompting an AI agent. The workflow where we just ask for something to be changed, and see the effect right away, has become increasingly natural to developers.
However, no such workflow exists for the web. We spend hours a day browsing websites, but if we don't like properties about those websites, it's non-trivial to fix those issues. We would like to encapsulate what software developers have been starting to take for granted, and bring that to everyone else.
A better web can be achieved through a combination of AI codegen and userscripts (e.g., what TamperMonkey manages). But unlike TamperMonkey, QuillMonkey enables an AI-native user flow. Don't focus on the scripts themselves (although you can view them, edit them, and enable/disable them with ease). Focus instead on your web experience, and quickly eliminate annoyances.
QuillMonkey is not like Claude Code with Chrome, a tool which allows developers to integrate Claude Code with their browser. That tool improves Developer Experience for devs building new applications, but QuillMonkey allows you to apply edits directly to third-party websites. QuillMonkey is also not the same as what are sometimes called "AI-browsers", alternative browsers centered on the AI experience. Those tools are focused more on helping you navigate the web than changing the experience itself.
QuillMonkey is still in Beta development, but you can try it out by following the download link into the Github repository, or enter your email above to be updated when it's released into the Chrome web store.
Natural language
No coding required. Just describe the change — "make the sidebar narrower", "remove the cookie banner", "switch to dark mode".
Persistent scripts
Changes are saved as userscripts and re-applied automatically. Toggle them on or off at any time.
Version history
Every edit is versioned. Roll back to any previous state with a single click — no work is ever lost.
Screenshot analysis
The AI can see the page. It analyses screenshots to understand layout, colours, and visual context before writing code.
